Privateer Security Forces is developing the next version of FlashThrough: a brief, vehicle-only visual patrol with a clearer observation standard, a defined routine scope, and the accountability of Privateer's proprietary Full Sail platform. The company is planning a premiere in Q4 2026, with rollout continuing into 2027. An exact activation date has not been announced.

FlashThrough serves a practical purpose. A property may benefit from professional security presence between longer patrols, around staffed hours, or at agreed points in a recurring service plan. Residents gain visible attention to their community. Managers gain a documented visit they can review. The service is built around prevention and accountability, with professional Privateers responsible for what they observe and how they respond.

From a rapid pass to a clearer observation standard

Earlier FlashThrough materials described a quiet visit intended to finish in under one minute. The development direction replaces that emphasis with at least one minute of actual on-site observation and a three-minute routine target. Once the agreed vehicle sweep is complete and the observation minimum is met, a routine visit can end; it need not consume all three minutes.

The purpose is to give the visit a clear standard that officers, clients, and operations can understand. A property must fit the service. Vehicle access, visibility, the agreed patrol area, and route capacity will matter when Privateer evaluates locations for the revised model. A larger property or a more involved assignment may need a regular patrol or another scoped service.

A defined scope, backed by professional judgment

The planned routine FlashThrough remains a visual pass from the patrol vehicle, using lighting as appropriate to observe the agreed route. It does not include routine dismounts, foot patrols, door or window checks, building entry, or inspection of areas that cannot reasonably be seen from the vehicle.

If a Privateer observes a condition that requires engagement, the work moves beyond the routine pass. The response depends on the concern, the property's instructions, lawful authority, and officer safety. The three-minute routine target is not a deadline to abandon a concern. A brief visit provides an opportunity to identify visible problems; it is not continuous coverage or a guarantee that every condition will be detected.

Keeping value and accountability together

The development plan retains a $5 quiet visit when no condition requires engagement. When attention requires engagement, the planned model calls for additional time charges after the first minute. Final billing terms and customer-specific applicability will be confirmed before the revised service is activated. This announcement does not amend an existing agreement or activate new pricing.

Full Sail connects Privateer's patrol work with visit records, incident documentation, and client visibility. As FlashThrough evolves, the service definition, officer workflow, reporting, and customer terms must line up. The revised timing and billing workflow remains development work; this announcement does not represent it as already operating in Full Sail.

Preparing for Q4 2026 and 2027

Privateer is working toward the revised product's premiere in Q4 2026 and continued rollout into 2027. Availability will depend on operational readiness, accepted routes, and applicable customer agreements. Existing customers continue under their current agreements until changes are properly adopted. An online quote request does not activate the revised service or reserve a launch date.

Property managers, boards, and business owners can contact Privateer to discuss the right balance of visible presence, longer patrols, and documented response for their property. Privateer will confirm service fit, scope, and applicable terms before activation.
